The 1908
Elmore is a new Elmore--a new expecially in the sense of its remarkable
ignition improvement--but it is also a highly refined development
of the first two-cycle Elmore that was ever placed upon the market. We
were absolutely right in principle when the first Elmore was built.
We were not groping in the dark, nor following after the false gods
of experimental construction. We have steadily pursued our first
ideal, working always along the same lines but refining and bettering
every point and detail in Elmore construction. We started on the
assumption that turning power was the first requisite in automobile
construction. The whole world has come to recongnize the correctness
of that assumption, but the Elmore alone realizes in its construction
and operation to-day the perfect development of that ideal.Having
attained the ideal of continuous and unbroken power, we realized
next that the vast majority of automobile troubles had their seat
in the valve system. Accordingly, we abolished valves. This reduced
occasion for trouble in the Elmore to the ignition system; and now
as a fitting climax to our years of betterment and perfection, we
have absolutely abolished all ignition troubles. After all, are we
not warranted in promising you for 1908 "The most perfect car
of its class in the world?"
THE ELMORE MODEL FORTY.
$2,500.00
The four-cylinder
Model Forty Elmore is the highest expression of two-cycle construction
the world has ever seen--a car so powerful, so elementally simple,
and so luxurious in lines and appointments that it immediately commands
comparison, with no fear as to the result of such comparison, with
the costliest cars of four-cycle construction at home or abroad.
We offer you the Elmore Model Forty as the highest achievement of
this factory since the industry was inaugurated.
THE ELMORE MODEL THIRTY.
$1,750.00
The three-cylinder
Model Thirty Elmore has proven itself in the past year one of the
most desirable and substantial cars on the market for people who
wish a car of moderate speed which requires in its maintenance and
operation a minimum of cost and effort.
